The municipal elections in Pune are to arrive in Feb, 2017. For this, the voters list is being updated since September 16. To spread awareness about the upcoming elections and invite new voters, the PMC has allowed street plays or nukkad nataks which will pass on the message. The details of existing voters are from the data of 2014 assembly elections and they can be modified now. The registration has opened its gates and eligible citizens can apply for the same. Anybody can check their enrolment from their nearest centres and edit or add their names before the final voters list is generated. Moreover, citizens under PMC can vote for 4 members at a time, say officials.
